Decide with your pride, then deny, and lie
Point down the ladder to the little guy
Deny wrongdoing with every reason why
WMD, well, we got erroneous and bad intel
Scooter Libby and the obstruction of justice
Don't blow this out of proportion or make a fuss
Sure he was declared guilty, but so are we
We just cannot say so to the people publicly
A President can't be a fool, he must keep his cool
Of course men in the White House screw up too
After all the national decider makes mistakes
Don't listen to the media's talking heads
They cause too many political earthquakes
The GOP is the political machine for me
Deflect, delude, and demean innocently
Preach God and go to war incessantly
They will empower the President fully
Cover him whenever he lies entirely
Provide him a man like Rove to spin
Obstruct law and order deep within
This is how it works in Washington
U.S. attorneys and prosecutors get fired
New politically favorable lawyers get hired
At and for the pure pleasure of the President
Come on boys, be peaceful, don't resent
VP Cheney can deny it and undergird me
Thanks to Halliburton we'll be rich indefinitely
The Saudis will also financially help me
To write history in my Presidential library
Hence the reason for the war in Iraq
Whatever the royal family says, we do
After inauguration they get first dibs too
As we roll out the red carpet for their visit
It doesn't matter that Prince Bandar is arrogant
They've got all the oil and therefore can spoil
The Middle East at their whim and leisure
Defense and petroleum contracts restructure
Life as we know it and how the media shows it
Saudi buys PR specialists and DC lobbyists
To remind us that the Wahhabis are friendliest
I the Pres. am just the chief decider and denier
Ambassador Joseph Wilson knows quite well
Beating around the Bush is the way to hell
Wilson and wife exposed White House ways
Political maneuvering and corrupt power plays
Now all hell is breaking loose 5 years into Iraq
Yet I the Commander and Chief never lack
A decisive decision, nor a bold faced denial
Until the subpoenas appear and I go on trial.
