"Pencil Drawings Of Dragons And Ships That Sail To The Milky Way"

"Pencil Drawings of Dragons"

I take away smiles from all the dragons.
Pencil drawings on paper
stories told dragons made to know of my conquering ways.
I am the master of my own shadow.

Ahh it all does please me so
my stencils on the moon.
I sit atop it now
inside the moons glow
reviewing all my former postings
still silent
yet smiling
as a ship sets sail
being led by a pegasus
to the Milky Way.

Fantasy fairies of art
a meeting of the goddess warrior women
legends of mermaids lore they meet me at oceans door.
I laugh and leave them chocolate
lest they fade away.

how do I paste fantasy fairies
securely on the moon?
I melted my dragon
erased his confidence
right when I needed him most!

Back to my easel and pencil box
I suppose
dragons can be drawn again
smiles reassured.
Drawing fire from his breath
mermaid art
warrior women conquer all.

I do not recent my dragon
I draw him freely
and yet
I make sure he understands my power.
I am a warrior
I hold my own pencil
my watercolors at hand
I draw when and whatever pleases me.

I take my graphite
draw a dragon, a fairy, a ghost of me.
I pick up all the stencils

I remind myself of my own worth.
I do not need to fit in an envelope
I would not travel well anyway.

I will steady the ladder
hold it safely
for you
my darling pegasus
to see the view.

My glass is held high
I filled it to the brim with dreams
I toast the ghost of a dragons past
no matter the fire
or drama he roars forth.
I am a warrior
a woman
a goddess
dreams rest very safely in my heart.
