A Crafty Gift Of Love

Have you ever asked yourself what could I give a person that has everything??? What could I give, as a gift of my love to someone??? Time!!! Your time is the most valuable thing that you could give to someone that you love. Spending quality time with your loved ones, is an immeasurable quantity of love. So often we make plans to spend time with our loved ones, awaiting moments that are suitable, appropriate or even convenient for us. Those moments of wishing, waiting and planning for the right time, are moments that can never be replaced. To often there are times when we allow things such as work %26 stress to supersede our desires to devote time to family. If you would take a moment to make a conscious effort to assign your physical %26 mental time to the things that are important, the things that make you smile, the things that create happiness in your life, it will ultimately relieve you from the stress and anxieties of your everyday life. Remember, when the nan's, nanna's, grannies and grandma of yesterday would spend months in quiet delight, creating works of love from the heart, passionately blueprinting every stitch, creating there very own special gift of love. Those quilts, comforter, latch hooked rugs and afghans became a treasured gift that we all will always love and cherish. A keepsake to remember the precious time that was given to us. It may indeed be impossible in some instances to spend time with the ones we love, however we can always keep them and hold them dear in our hearts by remembering them with a time held tradition of making them crafty gifts of love. A creative gift made with your very own hands and filled with the love of your heart will express more then time can reveal. So, in choosing your next gift to give to a loved one, it may be wise to put something crafty on your list.
