Stay Determined to Say No to Not Succeeding

In life we cannot avoid a true fact which is this.We will encounter at various moments within our lives the one thing that we strive to avoid which is opposition.

We may not be used to hearing this particular suggestion that I am about to say either.Appreciate opposition when it shows up at your door step in life.

I would like to even add further to my suggestion by saying welcome opposition. When we look at the many people who are religiously involved in weight lifting, they all know that the principle in weight lifting is resistance. In weight lifting resistance is what builds strength. Have you ever heard this statement before? No Pain No Gain.

Some of the greatest achievers in the world today and in world history overcame some of the greatest odds to accomplish the success that many of us covet so badly that also want to accomplish great things in this life.

These history making achievers should inspire us. The inspiration that we receive from their renowned stories that you and I benefit from, would not have been available to enjoy if these history changers did not say no to not succeeding.

I get joyous when I discuss with other fellow colleagues and business associates the story of Mr. Walt Disney. After having a dream and vision to create a Theme Park for people to be able to bring their families to for a wonderful trip, vacation, fun, relaxation and enjoyment, He went to work on making his dream and vision a reality. Now Disney World is the most visited Theme Park in the world today.

What is inspiring however though is this. When Walt Disney approached banks and other institutions that were able to lend him money to visionaries like himself for his dream of a Theme Park, he got turned down over 300 times. Wow! He was determined to make his dream become a reality even though he did not succeed in getting the loan from the first 200 plus lending institutions that turned him down. He could have said, I am tired of getting turned down for a loan for my dream so I will just forget about.

Nope. He was resilient and determined to not accept no as his final answer.Whatever your ambitions, desires or dreams are personally remember that you can get there. Do not let opposition stop you. It may slow down how quickly you want to attain what you are trying to do but do not let it stop you. Success can be grabbed if no is not accepted by you.

Succeeding at what you want should not be looked at like and compared to a race but a marathon. Success takes time. Do some succeed quicker than others? Yes, of course they do; but staying the course is what is most important. If you stay the course accomplishment will eventually come.

The reason I can share these statements with you is because I have seen it happen in my life with my own dreams. I wanted to get my own home business off the grown and running because I desire to be able to leave a business one day to my four children to inherit and run if they wanted it. It took me several years of trying but you know what I got there.

My home business is doing great and it is growing all the time on a daily basis. The only reason my home business is where it is at today is because I said no to not succeeding.

Did it take time for me to get it to the point where I have it at right now? You betcha. However I am really enjoying it so much because I encountered opposition so many times that often I have had to stop and look in the mirror and ask myself, Self, what made you continue to keep going?

I realized that I had been blessed with the mind set of staying resilient. In addition to that I grew along the way because I realized how the opposition and resistance was building more strength inside of me along my journey. I am so glad for that particular trait that I realize is a part of me.

Always remember this very familiar saying, If at first you do not succeed, try try again. The trying again effort on your part is a wonderful sign that you have chosen to say no to not succeeding. Continue to say no to it until you reach all of your dreams in life.
